EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Following a career in engineering and manufacturing, Don started his art career in the mid nineteen eighties. By 1990 he was creating sculptures full time and by 1992 he had switched from wood to aluminum and steel, primarily to address the growing demand for monumental and outdoor sculptures. Don’s focus however has always been and remains centered around providing unique visual images. Don is a colorist and enjoys providing images that creatively stimulate and nearly always amuse the viewer. Because of the animated flow in his work some people are referring to his work as anticipatory kinetic. Don is a registered artist in the state of Colorado.
